Description of the ATA  Analyst Training Program

Atlanta Technology Angels is one of the nation’s Top Angel Investing Networks.  It includes affiliates in Georgia and throughout the South East which work together to evaluate and fund early stage companies.  Last year ATA participated in over $11 million funded into local companies.  In an effort to increase deal flow and expedite both the front-end company screening and the later stage funding process, the Atlanta Technology Angels has established an educational Analyst Training Program to assist with the due diligence and screening process. This group of volunteers will be hand selected by the organization to participate in all aspects of the investment process.

Specifically, ATA is looking for candidates that are interested in gaining experience evaluating early-stage companies with experience in; life sciences, engineering, medical devices, computer science, internet sales and marketing, software and app design and social media.  The unpaid educational training program will last for six (6) months and requires a time commitment of approximately 25 hours per month, including a full day screening meeting the third Tuesday of each month.  Completion of the training program will provide analysts with:
